Stéphane Demoustier on 'The Great Arch'

The Great Arch is inspired by the extraordinary and fragile journey behind the creation of Paris’s Grande Arche.

Based on Laurence Cossé’s novel, the film follows Danish architect Johan Otto von Spreckelsen, an unexpected outsider who won the competition for one of France’s most emblematic monuments. Between artistic ambition, political pressure, and personal doubt, Stéphane Demoustier explores what it means to build and to endure.

Premiered in Cannes Film Festival (Un Certain Regard), The Great Arch is released in Italy on January 1 🇮🇹
