French Film Festival in Japan 2026 | Trailer

The French Film Festival in Japan 2026 is back on March 19–22! 🇯🇵🇫🇷

Organized by Unifrance, the festival returns for its 33rd edition and opens a new chapter in Shibuya, after many years in Yokohama. 🎬✨

The official Japanese ambassador is actress Yuumi Kawai (seen in Renoir, In Competition at Cannes 2025).

A strong French delegation will attend, including Olivier Assayas, Rebecca Zlotowski, Sophie Marceau, and many more, with Q&As following the screenings.

The festival will also host a retrospective dedicated to Olivier Assayas, a photography exhibition, and the French Film & Audiovisual Market in Tokyo.
