Pineapple TV entertains and educates its viewers whilst promoting African culture, religious tolerance, gender equality and geographical acceptance.
Carl Raccah, managing director, said that Pineapple TV should be regarded as an initiative of which the channel is just a part.
He informed us of various off-screen projects such as the ‘Kid Zone’ at MMA2, which is a special seating area for families travelling through the airport with children 16 years and under.
Here families can sit in comfort in their own VIP area and relax, waiting for their flights to be called while watching Pineapple TV on a large screen. Carl added that other off screen initiatives will be advertised in early 2020, these will include theatre productions, in school events and sports initiatives.
Since first broadcast, Pineapple TV gained traction with brands that quickly understood the unique communication opportunity that the channel offers, namely a safe viewing space with high quality productions, available 24 hours a day.
Yetunde Falade, head Corporate Affairs, said, “We are pleased to announce that Pineapple TV will be available in the United Kingdom from 1st December 2019 as part of Fame TV on Sky Channel 452. This is in keeping with our vision of exporting quality African Content to the world.”
