Locomotive Global Inc.
(LGI) was co-founded in 2013 by media and entertainment industry executives Sunder Aaron and Scott Anderson. LGI is a US incorporated company that holds several media assets and also acts an executive production company in India, focused on developing, producing and distributing Indian-themed global quality television and film content for the Indian market and around the world.
LGI incubates and operates India oriented media businesses, and is also active in programming sales and distribution across broadcast TV and OTT platforms. Locomotive Global Inc. is based in Mumbai, India and Los Angeles, California.
In 2017, LGI launched and now co-owns QYOU Media India Pvt. Ltd., the programming company that operates The Q India, a pay television channel currently available nationwide, and is seen in several tens of millions of households and mobile phones throughout the Indian market (www.theqindia.com).
Since 2013, LGI has distributed television programming to major broadcasting companies in India, including series and movies licensed to Star TV, HBO and Zee Television Networks. LGI has supplier relationships with several Western content companies including Lakeshore Entertainment, Screen Media, NBCU and ITV.
In 2019, LGI became the exclusive remake rights holder for the critically acclaimed CBS Studios International/Showtime drama series Ray Donovan. LGI will develop a new local language version of the series, set in India and featuring an Indian cast.
LGI has an active slate in development that includes both scripted drama series as well as feature films. The immediate project for which LGI are seeking production financing is the original scripted drama series, The God Man, which was created with Gurinder Chadha (Dir.
