Espreso TV is a privatly owned TV channel from Kiev, Ukraine. It was founded in 2013. It mainly broadcasts the most current and most relevant news to people in Ukraine, to Ukrainians living abroad, and to all others interested in what is happening in Ukraine. Espreso TV aims to unite those who care about democratization of Ukraine and is dedicated to accurate and objective reporting of political, social, and cultural life in Ukraine.
Former PM Yatsenyuk becomes owner of Espresso TV
18 Aug 2017Arseny Yatsenyuk has become one of the owners of Espresso.TV,
strana.ua reports. This is clear from data about the ownership of Astra
Finance which operates the channel and that are available on YouControl
portal.
The former Ukrainian PM contributed 42.600 UAH to the statutory fund of Astra Finance, comprising 40% ownership stake. The two other owners are the wives of Arsen Avakov – Ukraine’s Minister of Interior and of Mykola Kniazhytsky – a member of Parliament – who both own 30%. According to official data, the final beneficiary and owner of the channel is the wife of Kniazhytsky – Larisa.
