Montenegro's tax authorities launch bankruptcy proceedings against TV Vijesti
The Tax Administration of Montenegro
has filed a request to the Commercial Court for the launch of
bankruptcy proceedings against TV Vijesti due to failure to pay its tax
debts, Daily News informs.
According to the latest data from the Ministry of Finance, the overall tax debt of the broadcaster for unpaid taxes and contributions on salaries amounts to 356.599 euros and in January the Government adopted a decision on its payment in 12 monthly installments.
TV Vijesti has been operating since May 2008 and is one of the leading channels in the country.
