Le CME (Council for Electronic Media) a supprimé (14/09/2016) la licence nationale accordée à TV7 (ce qui inclut également la suppression des licences de News 7 et Super 7).

La chaîne avait déjà été retirée du multiplexe numérique l'an dernier en raison de ses difficultés financière et avait été en mai 2016 déclarée en faillite.

Chaîne contrôlée par les entrepreneurs locaux Ljubomir Pavlov et Rumen Artarski.

20/04/2011 : Nickelodeon va lancer un bloc de programmation localisé en Bulgarie le 24 avril. Il diffusera 4 heures quotidiennement - deux heures de programmes préscolaires et deux heures d'animation et live action dans l'après-midi – sur la chaîne TV7 via câble, satellite, IPTV et FTA TNT (incluant TV7 et Super 7).

About TV7:
TV7 is national broadcast television station, which launched in November 2005. Since January 23rd 2010, TV7 started effectively distributing its program, and besides via cable and satellite, TV7 is aired in 58 Bulgarian cities and towns, as the program is of high technical quality and is produced, processed and aired entirely digitally. TV7 has 24-hour program, directed towards broad audience, and offers diverse selection of movies and series, including own series production, first-class news content and high quality publicist and talk-show programs. Since March 2012 TV7 airs entirely in 16х9. In June 2007 is registered the children TV channel Super 7, the first entirely Bulgarian TV channel, broadcasting children and youth content. Since the summer of 2012 BBT joined the group of channels. In December 2012 BBT signed affiliate and consultancy agreement with Turner Broadcasting, parent company of CNN International. The news channel News7, which will use the terrestrial and satellite frequencies of BBT, will launch in the first half of 2013 and aims to be the first first 24-hour news broadcast TV station in Bulgaria in HD format. Since November 2012 the group of channels TV7, Super 7 and BBT is owned by the British investment fund Alegro Capital. Alegro Capital is an international investment banking company, focused on telecommunications, media and new technology. Alegro Capital's strategic advisory business counsels its clients on merges, acquisitions, diversitures, restructurings and other strategic transactions.
