GERMAN ENTERTAINMENT HOUSE WITH WORLDWIDE NETWORK From comedy to quiz, from Docu to Light Entertainment, from reality to show: Endemol Shine Germany is a leading TV production and entertainment company headquartered in Cologne. The company is part of the international Endemol Shine Group, which is represented worldwide in more than 30 countries and has over 600 formats in its portfolio. CEO of Endemol Shine Germany is Marcus Wolter. Endemol Shine Germany GmbH was created in May 2015 from the merger of the two producers Endemol Deutschland GmbH and Shine Germany GmbH. Endemol Germany was founded in 1994, Shine Germany in 2009.
SUCCESSFORMS FROM SOCIETY BUSINESS AREAS In its three business areas "Comedy [&] Light Entertainment", "Show [&] Factual" and "Reality [&] Docu", Endemol Shine Germany produces more than 5,500 program hours each year for formats of all genres. The productions include the quizshow "Wer wird Millionär" (RTL), the reality show "Celebrity Big Brother" (Sat.1), the gameshows "Joko vs. Klaas - Das Duell um die Welt" (ProSieben) or the new VOX Success "Kitchen Impossible". In addition, "The Wiwaldi Show" (the first), the cult show with Joko Winterscheidt and Klaas Heufer circulation "CIRCUS HALLIGALLI" (ProSieben) and documentary formats such as "Missing" (RTL), "Julia Leischik is looking for: "(Sat.1) or" Hot or Scrap - the Allestester "(VOX). PARTNERSHIP WITH SPECIALISTS As early as 1998 Endemol Shine Germany acquired 40 percent of META productions GmbH . Today, the specialist for infotainment formats such as "AKTE" (SAT.1) and "Escher - The MDR" (MDR) is 90% owned by Endemol Shine Germany. In January 2010, Endemol Shine Germany founded " Wiedemann [&] Berg Television - A Part of the Endemol Shine Group " with the Oscar-winning producers Max Wiedemann and Quirin Berg ("The Life of Others", "Men's Hearts I + II") . With "Lena - Love of my life" (ZDF), the joint venture was able to bring the first joint project on air after a short time. Other successful projects include the ZDF three-piece "Tannbach", "Die Spiegel-Affäre" (ARD), the Weimar "Tatort" or the series "Frauenherzen" (Sat.1). Since February 2011, Endemol Shine Germany has been a 51 percent share of the production company of Jörg Pilawa, Mr. P GmbH . Jointly produced success formats include "The Quizshow with Jörg Pilawa", "The Super Champion" and "Zero Wins". In addition, the joint productions of Endemol Shine Germany with the cult moderators Joko Winterscheidt and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf have been bundled in Florida TV since December 2011 .
Endemol Shine Germany has a 51 per cent stake in Florida TV. Florida TV Director is Arno Schneppenheim, Director Comedy [&] Light Entertainment at Endemol Shine Germany. Since October 2012, Endemol Shine Germany has been concentrating its digital activities in its own subsidiary. Endemol Shine Beyond develops, produces and distributes digital content, digital channels, transmedial formats and branded entertainment. Close collaboration with selected YouTube creators, editorial and production of professional online content, and the development of campaigns for advertisers is the core business of Endemol Shine Beyond. The managing director is Michael Kollatschny.
